The CH88 chair was initially developed as a prototype for the Helsingborg International Exhibition in Sweden in 1955. Wegner often explored the limits and potential of other materials, as is the case for this model. This chair consists of a tubular steel frame that supports a plywood seat and steam-bent solid wood back.
