In order to streamline the fulfilment process, we organise deliveries direct from suppliers to you. This ensures your order will arrive faster and minimise the risk of in-transit damage. As a result, our shipping fees are on a per-supplier basis. This means that if your order can be fulfilled by a single supplier we will only charge you a single delivery fee (which will be the highest individual unit delivery amount of the items ordered); if on the other hand your order can only be fulfilled by multiple suppliers we will charge you a delivery fee for each supplier. By way of illustration, if you order a small item that is fulfilled by one supplier and a large item that is fulfilled by another supplier, we will charge you £55.90 for delivery (being £5.95 + £49.95).
If at any point prior to confirmation you wish to cancel part or all of your order, please email orders@withflitch.com.

Since 1908, Carl Hansen & Søn has embodied the quintessence of Danish design by combining craftsmanship, quality and innovation. The brand brings together a collection of masterpieces of Scandinavian design: iconic items created by the greatest Danish designers. Handcrafted in Denmark, these pieces with their exceptional quality stand the test of time. With the strictest respect for the original models, Carl Hansen & Søn reissues the legendary creations of Hans J. Wegner (1914 – 2007), considered one of the founders of Scandinavian design. The CH24 chair or Wishbone Chair is one of the first chairs that Hans J. Wegner created exclusively for Carl Hansen & Søn at the start of their collaboration in 1950. These wooden chairs with their paper cord seats are today among the designer's best-known and most sought-after creations. The Wishbone Chair has been in continuous production since 1950. Wegner developed the characteristic Y-shaped back that gives the Wishbone chair its name. More than 100 steps go into making each Wishbone Chair, most of which are done by hand. The Wishbone Chair was considered revolutionary at the time due to the choice of seat material. Woven paper cord, a substitute for seagrass developed during World War II, had never been used in furniture before. Wegner was enthusiastic about the appearance and durability of the material. Very robust, the paper cord perfectly imitates plant fibre, with its warm, natural aspect. It's lifespan easily stretches over 50 years and is (at least) as durable as textiles and quality leather. It takes a skilled craftsman about an hour and around 120 metres of paper cord to make a seat by hand, using a specific weaving technique. The Wishbone chair provides comfort and stability while satisfying the aesthetic desires of a distinctive, elegant form. The ergonomics, clean, organic contours and refined style of this chair illustrate the unique design approach and insightful craftsmanship of the young Hans J. Wegner. The Wishbone chair is much more than just a piece of furniture: it's a functional work of art that embodies the heritage of Danish design.
