As part of Habitat's 60th anniversary we've added this birch wood table in a bright limited-edition red. Boldly iconic. The retro style under curves and vivid colour perfectly match our re-introduced bistro chairs. Part of the specially commissioned collection in celebration of Habitat's 60 years of British design. The Birth of Habitat
In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.
The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.
