Description

The Edited Life - Jute Marl Rug. Expertly handmade on a pit loom by experienced crafters, the natural jute, and wool fibres give a beautiful finish and are fully biodegradable and recyclable. Blending warm wool and durable jute, the Edited Life Marl rug injects natural style into any space. Hand-woven by skilled rug artisans and hand finished with tassle detailing. The yarn blend pairs the warm-touch effect of wool with the durability of jute, an ideal design for high-traffic areas. Live well. Mean well. Be well. Many of us want to live simpler lives, to reduce our impact on the environment, and improve our wellbeing. As we become more aware of our surroundings and understand how our choices contribute to the world around us, more people are choosing to consume less and curate more. The Edited Life introduces a new era of thoughtfulness in the home, with an understated collection of pieces chosen for their simple beauty, quality craftsmanship and innate usefulness that will last beyond any trend. Having it all is no longer the goal; having enough, and it being just right, is. This is a hand-made flatweave rug. When opening, re-roll your rug pile out and leave in a warm room for 24 hours before putting in place, this will help to reduce wrinkles and curling from packing. Do not pull any loose threads, please cut them carefully with scissors to remove. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight as this may cause fading of the colour. Turn your rug regularly to ensure even wear and to reduce pressure marks from furniture. Wool fibres may shed when new and during use, this is a characteristic of this product and is not a defect and should reduce with normal use and regular vacuuming. Before using any cleaning products on your rug, test on an inconspicuous area first to ensure it does not affect the colour. Clean spills immediately by blotting with a clean dry white cloth - do not rub as this may stain the fibres. Vacuum your rug regularly to remove everyday dirt, we recommend the use of a suction type vacuum cleaner as a rotating vacuum brush can cause damage to the pile surface. We recommend the use of an anti-slip mat beneath your rug to prevent it from slipping and sliding out of place. Latex is used on the back of this rug. Please do not leave babies or young children unsupervised on this rug.

A Legacy of Home Comfort Dunelm's Journey

Dunelm isn't just another store; it's a British legacy. Kicked off in 1979 by the dynamic duo, Bill and Jeany Adderley, what began as a simple market stall in Leicester transformed into one of the UK's most prominent home furnishings retailers.

Fast forward a bit, and their first brick-and-mortar store sprang to life in Leicester in 1984. Dunelm didn't stop there, making waves throughout the decades, innovating and expanding, launching an online shopping experience, and securing its place on the London Stock Exchange.

More than Just Products...A Personal Touch

With a whopping 177 stores across the UK, Dunelm isn't just about selling items; it's about crafting experiences. Many of their stores come with cosy Pausa cafes, offering a space to relax and refuel.

And if you've ever felt like joining a community, they've got dedicated Facebook groups for each store locality. It's not just about buying a product; it's about being part of the Dunelm family.
